TVS Motor Company has officially launched its new entry-level electric scooter, the TVS Orbiter, on August 28, 2025. Priced at ₹99,900 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru) under the PM e-Drive scheme, the Orbiter is designed as a budget-friendly yet feature-rich urban commuter alternative to higher-end EVs like the iQube .

Powered by a 3.1 kWh battery, the Orbiter promises an impressive Indian Driving Cycle (IDC) certified range of 158 km, with dual ride modes (Eco and Power), regenerative braking, and a large 34-litre under-seat storage capable of fitting two helmets .

Its design emphasizes practicality and stability: it features a 14-inch front wheel, cruise control, hill-hold assist, and smart technology like an LCD cluster with call display and connected mobile app . Available in six vibrant colour options—Neon Sunburst, Stratos Blue, Lunar Grey, Stellar Silver, Cosmic Titanium, and Martian Copper—the Orbiter blends minimalist styling with urban appeal .

TVS produced the Orbiter on the same manufacturing line as the iQube at its Hosur facility, leveraging a scalable platform while targeting first-time urban buyers with a clean, affordable e-mobility solution .

TVS executives anticipate the Orbiter will bolster the brand’s leadership in the growing EV segment amid supply chain challenges, with TVS already holding a 24-25% share of electric two-wheelers in India .
