Jammu Flood Alert: Cloudburst, Landslides & Schools Shut Down

Jammu & Kashmir is facing severe weather conditions after a massive cloudburst in Doda triggered flash floods and landslides. The Jammu–Srinagar highway has been closed, rivers like Tawi & Ravi are flowing above danger levels, and all schools & colleges in Jammu division will remain shut till August 27. A tragic landslide on the Vaishno Devi route killed 5 devotees. Mobile and internet services are also down in parts of Jammu & Srinagar. Authorities have issued a Red Alert and rescue operations are underway.
